In my home life, I’m a mom of two boys. My husband and I have been married for 15 years, and together we live in Springfield, OH.

I joined PaperPie as a Brand Partner with a plan to build my home library for my growing boys. Along the way, I’ve developed a love for in person events, like book fairs and craft shows, because I get to interact with everyone who uses the books. I love hearing everyone’s stories and helping them find books they fall in love with- and I can’t wait to help you too!

I Say Ooh, You Say Ahh will always be my favorite PaperPie picture book—and not just because it’s fun to read aloud. It’s tied to one of those core parent memories I didn’t know I was making at the time. At our very first Meet the Teacher event, we gathered in a small library room—kindergarteners packed around tables, parents lining the walls, chatter and crayons everywhere. It was the best kind of organized chaos. Then came story time. The teacher sat down with I Say Ooh, You Say Ahh, fully expecting giggles, participation, and big reactions. The kids? Mostly curious stares. The parents? Smiling, laughing, and clearly enjoying every page. I’ll admit it—I think I loved it more than my son did in that moment. But I knew right then it belonged in our home library. It didn’t take long to track it down, and every time I see it now, I’m right back in that crowded little room, soaking in one of those “this matters” moments of early learning.
